Athletic-Minded Traveler eliminates the guesswork and uncertainty of staying active and healthy while on the road by providing reliable recommendations for fitness-focused hotels, health clubs, running routes, pools, and places to eat.
Project Summary:
The authors of The Athletic-Minded Traveler approached Sparkplug with a unique project: transform their best-selling book into an interactive fitness travel website. Never ones to turn down a good challenge, we worked closely with their team to develop a solid architecture, and then designed and built the entire web portal from scratch including database backend, ecommerce, user registration, forums, customized mapping, and content management system.
